We love Sundays! Especially when we get to enjoy two of our favourite things about living in Rio; one, when they close half the beach side avenue to cars from Leblon to Leme and two, going for a surf! Wouldn’t it be awesome if all the big cities in the world could adopt this Sunday treat and shut down some of the streets to allow just walkers, runners, skateboarders & cyclists to enjoy this space freely.
Also, knowing what lies ahead in the coming weeks, it was great to dig out the surfboard and clear my head with a few waves in Arpoador. Photo credits: my wife 🙂
