The TEC-HEART-SPORT series is closing, but conversations are just beginning!

During the last months, we have shared the core principles and practices that guide our work at Legacy Sport. Using the acronym TEC – HEART – SPORT, we explored how our business and the sports community can grow through Thrill, Expertise, Courage, Humanism, Empathy, Advocacy, Respect, Transparency, Sustainability, People, Olympism, Relationships, and Transformation.

These are ideals that we must learn to implement every day. We would love to meet with you, our readers, clients, partners, and suppliers to share and listen to stories that illustrate these ideals. We would greatly appreciate exchanging strategies to implement them, the roadblocks we find, and how they could be overcome.

TEC-HEART-SPORT is more than a conversation starter, it’s a business manifesto and we hope it raises good questions we could investigate together. Therefore, we will propose other discussions through blog articles, other media projects, and live meetings in the following months. We hope to count on your participation.

To close this cycle, we would like to revisit the questions we proposed at the end of our articles. They are all available on our website and our LinkedIn page. Please share with us your insights for any or all of these questions:

THRILL: If you work or would like to work with tech and sports, please share with us: what in this beautiful profession makes your heart thrilled? And what are the conditions that cause your fire to burn stronger?

EXPERTISE: What is your expertise? And how do you cultivate it?

COURAGE: What is important enough in your work and life to awaken your courage? How courage moves you to do what you do?

HUMANISM: What would happen if humanism was built into the DNA of our companies and work teams? How would this impact people’s happiness – and even their productivity?

EMPATHY: What if our teams were known in the sports industry for their ability to build bridges with people from all cultures, fields, and hierarchical levels, as much as their technical skills? How much headache and rework would we avoid? And how much more fun delivering a sports event would be?

ADVOCACY: What is your way of advocating? And what are you advocating for?

RESPECT: What is the level of respect you need from others right now? And who and what should you be respecting more?

TRANSPARENCY: What place does transparency have in your work and your organisational culture? What symptoms do you see when transparency is not there? And how could you cultivate it more?

SUSTAINABILITY: What about your business? How are you participating in the sustainability discussions and actions that are building today a world that can be healthily lived in the future?

PEOPLE: Who are the people at the center of what you do? How are you using your work to move them?

OLYMPISM: What values inspire and guide your work or business? How can you nurture them and keep them alive in your heart and the heart of your teams?

RELATIONSHIPS: What is the quality of your relationships? What are you doing to take care of them?

TRANSFORMATION: What if we committed to transforming ourselves and our organisations? What if we could transform sports together and let sports naturally transform the world?
